Job Description Summary
Atlanta Service Center is looking for a talented and reliable maintenance technician to join our maintenance department. The primary responsibility of this role is preventative maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment in accordance with standards. The Experienced Maintenance Technician assists with installations, servicing, troubleshooting, and performing preventive and predictive maintenance functions on plant equipment. This equipment includes but is not limited to; diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic problems associated with process equipment, plant lighting equipment, electrical circuits, motors, starters, motor control centers, programmable controllers, control panels, transformers, switches, transmitters, automatic valves, regulators, guide systems, distributed control systems, PLC's, overhead cranes, etc. May perform additional duties as assigned. Job Description
As a member of the maintenance department, you will be an active contributor to the operation of the facility to meet delivery goals. This role will require you to:
- Test and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment or systems. (Involving circuits, relay logic, wiring, motors, servo drives, etc.)
- Fabricate and machine components to repair jigs, fixtures, and parts (metal, plastic, and wood) for projects, equipment repair, maintenance work orders, and machine modifications
- Write, program, troubleshoot, modify, and/or repair programmable logic controllers, CNC machines, robotics, and other electronic equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical equipment and machine components
- Perform basic administrative skills including documentation of work performed by written/electronic methods
- Ability to problem solve and continuously improve safety, quality, and productivity
This is a full-time onsite position at our Chamblee, GA facility. New hires will work our 1st shift work schedule of Monday-Friday 6:00AM – 2:30PM ET during training and rotate to 2nd shift work schedule of Monday-Friday 4:10PM – 1:00AM ET after training is complete based on business needs. Overtime is available but not mandatory.

Who You Are:
You have experience with reading orders, reading and understanding technical manuals and literature; in troubleshooting and repairing (determine root causes of operating errors and repair facilities equipment or systems using necessary tools); motorized equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, Genie lifts, hoists and cranes; electrical and mechanical systems.
Basic Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
- Technical knowledge and skills in the following areas: PLC's, Computers & Information Technology, Hydraulic/Pneumatic, Motion/Motor Control, Welding, Machining
- Requires standing, sitting, walking, crouching, kneeling, stooping, and climbing of steps and ladders
- Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot computer software including relevant applications such as Microsoft office
- Must be able climb in and out of motorized equipment and be able to operate two foot pedals as well as operate both hands/arms for driving and lift controls
- Must be able to work with hand and power tools and requires manual dexterity with both hands
Desired Characteristics:
- Prior industrial maintenance experience
- Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology, or a relevant field
- Electrical degree, diploma, or certification of completion for studies of electricity
- Documentation of any state Journeyman’s Electrical License current or expired
Pay Transparency:
The starting pay for this position is $29.9327/hour. This position is also eligible for a $1.00/hour shift differential hourly rate increase. This posting is expected to close when a suitable candidate has been identified.
