Job Description Summary
Verantwortlich für Tätigkeiten im Zusammenhang mit dem Bau, der Errichtung und Inbetriebnahme beim Kunden, von der Mobilisierung des Standorts über Bau-, Montage- und Inbetriebnahmearbeiten bis hin zu Managementaktivitäten in diesem Bereich. Verantwortlich für die Planung/Ausführung des Abteilungsbetriebs oder konzentriert sich auf die Ausführung von beruflichen Tätigkeiten innerhalb einer technischen Disziplin.Hat eine gewisse Autonomie, wird jedoch von festgelegten Richtlinien oder der Überprüfung der Endergebnisse geleitet.Die Stelle ermöglicht die Änderung von Arbeitsabläufen und Praktiken, sofern die Endergebnisse den Standards der Akzeptanz (Qualität, Umfang, Aktualität usw.) entsprechen.
Job Description
Job Purpose:
The role involves providing technical leadership and expertise for the commissioning phases of Offshore Wind Turbine projects relative to Controls systems. This includes oversight from supplier manufacturing through various commissioning stages.
Significant Activities:
- Collaborate with design and operations teams to develop commissioning test plans and self-tests.
- Prepare commissioning protocols and support documentation creation for Haliade commissioning.
- Provide onsite and remote technical support, manage defects, and ensure commissioning timelines related to turbine controller.
- Lead technical and operational improvements during commissioning.
- Drive process improvements focusing on digitalization, data analytics, and EHS compliance.
- Analyze data for continuous improvement in operational safety and quality.
- Communicate recommendations through technical material presentations.
- Uphold quality standards and documentation adherence.
- Represent the organization to promote Safety, Quality, and Compliance.
- Lead Software Impact Analysis for commissioning activities and deployment support, including automatization improvements.
- Lead capturing and translating high-level turbine operation requirements into efficient and robust specifications and follow up of SW updates enhancing site operation performance improvements.
Working Relationships:
- Reports to Commissioning Technical Support Leader; supports Project execution teams, both supervisors and technician working locally in turbines or remotely in Remote Operation Center.
- Interfaces with Installation and MechElec teams to uphold safety best practices and with Engineering for issues resolution and product improvements Manages partnerships for technical guidance and alignment.
Professional Skills Required:
- Several years of experience in Offshore Wind Farms.
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent knowledge or experience.
- Proven track record in wind turbine operation or technical support.
- Strong Experience with Turbine main controller both hardware and software, including HMI to operate the units.
- Competent in Communication networks
- Competent in MATLAB-SIMULINK and Twincat.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility, motivation, and ability to work under pressure.
- Experience with quality tools.
- Strong communication skills and goal-driven.
- Understanding of English language for global procedures.
- Willing to travel in between 15-25% of the time.
Pre-requisite EHS:
- Strong safety culture and ability to uphold GE EHS requirements.
- Knowledge of HV EHS safety systems.
