As a member of the Americas Inbound Flow Logistics team, you will be an active contributor to improving visibility, KPI reporting, and daily management of inbound logistics processes through enhanced OTM and Tableau-based tools, reporting structures, and standardized work instructions.

Job Description

As a Sourcing Logistics Intern, you will:

• Map suppliers and factory/distribution center locations across Europe to support logistics network analysis and sourcing strategy development.
• Analyze origin and destination flows to help develop port and airport logistics strategies that maximize efficiency and reduce trucking costs.
• Support transportation sourcing activities from demand identification through implementation and go-live.
• Review current lanes, shipment volumes, utilization, and network requirements to help define sourcing scope and identify new or changing lanes.
• Assist with RFQ and RFV preparation, carrier data collection, response analysis, cost modeling, and sourcing event documentation.
• Support carrier evaluation activities across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost metrics, including scorecard development and reporting.
• Create and update SOPs, work instructions, templates, and process documentation to support standardized sourcing and carrier management processes.
• Help coordinate implementation activities for awarded carriers, including documentation collection, system setup support, and operational readiness tracking.
• Identify process improvement, automation, and standardization opportunities across sourcing, trade lane management, and logistics reporting processes.

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

• Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to organize and analyze data related to transportation lanes, supplier locations, costs, and carrier performance.
• Ability to create clear process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.

• You have a passion for logistics sourcing, network optimization, and continuous improvement.
• You are someone who brings attention to detail, process discipline, and a structured approach to documentation.
• You have experience with transportation sourcing, carrier RFQs/RFVs, or logistics cost analysis.
• You have experience with process mapping, SOP creation, scorecard development, or KPI reporting.
• You have familiarity with logistics systems, transportation data, OTM, QMS processes, or carrier performance management.
• You have an interest in international logistics, port and airport strategy, and supply chain network design.
