Für zugehörige Kundenausstattungs-, Einrichtungs- oder Infrastrukturprojekte: verantwortlich für Projektabwicklung, Ergebnisverantwortung und Kundenzufriedenheit durch Verwaltung der projektbezogenen Aktivitäten und Ressourcen. Verantwortlich für die Planung/Ausführung des Abteilungsbetriebs oder konzentriert sich auf die Ausführung von beruflichen Tätigkeiten innerhalb einer technischen Disziplin.Hat eine gewisse Autonomie, wird jedoch von festgelegten Richtlinien oder der Überprüfung der Endergebnisse geleitet.
Die Stelle ermöglicht die Änderung von Arbeitsabläufen und Praktiken, sofern die Endergebnisse den Standards der Akzeptanz (Qualität, Umfang, Aktualität usw.) entsprechen.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the full project lifecycle from handover to final completion
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
• Manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and scope across all stages
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure strong performance throughout delivery
• Use resources effectively and help identify opportunities for additional project work
• Support strong project financial performance and protect project margins
• Manage contract changes, variation orders, and extension requests
• Keep proper project records and documentation to support claims and contract discussions
• Help resolve project and contract issues quickly and effectively
• Monitor project costs, invoicing, cash flow, and collections together with Finance
• Track key financial indicators and take action where needed
• Ensure all financing-related reporting and documentation requirements are met
• Manage guarantees, letters of credit, and advance payments carefully
• Act as the main point of contact for the customer throughout the project
• Support customers with approvals, permits, design reviews, and project changes
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure clear, timely, and professional communication at all times
• Maintain accurate project reporting, risk tracking, and performance updates
• Manage project reviews, lessons learned, and risk registers
• Ensure project evidence and documentation are complete and well organized
• Use standard PMO tools and processes for reporting and governance
• Promote a strong safety culture and target zero incidents on the project
• Ensure subcontractors follow EHS requirements and company standards
• Maintain quality standards in line with contract requirements and international expectations
• Prepare and maintain the Project Management Plan
• Capture lessons learned and share best practices with the wider team
• Support new process implementation and operational improvements
• Take on additional responsibilities or support challenging projects when needed
• Continue developing through project management certification and training

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline
• Minimum 4 years of experience as Project Manager on projects or work packages of USD 5M–50M+
• Minimum 8 years of total professional experience in project-based business
• Hands-on experience in turnkey EPC projects including civil works, electro-mechanical installation and commissioning
• Demonstrated contract management experience: variation orders, claims, extension of time and correspondence discipline
• Experience working in international, multidisciplinary project environments
• Willingness to travel internationally for short to medium durations
• Strong verbal and written skills in English
• Ability to live in Ankara

Desired Characteristics:

• Bachelor's degree in an Electrical Engineering
• Experience in the High Voltage Substation business
• Comfortable working in a hybrid work environment
• Good verbal and written skills in Arabic
• Experience on externally financed projects and exposure to lender requirements
• Cross-functional experience across engineering, sourcing, logistics or field services
• Experience with public-sector or ministry-level customers
• Experience in project recovery or in taking over an ongoing project from another manager
• Familiarity with integration management in related industries
• Strong sense of responsibility and accountability
• Business-oriented mindset with a company-wide perspective; able to weigh a project decision against its effect on the wider portfolio
• Able to resolve problems at their own level and escalate with a proposed solution rather than with a problem
• Able to influence and align cross-functional teams without direct line authority
• Capable of running more than one project simultaneously
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational and documentation discipline
• Effective communicator and active listener; able to create a sense of urgency and accountability among stakeholders
