Install, maintain, and repair internal factory equipment. Supervise employees who perform maintenance and tool making. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure that equipment and tools are in good condition for use. Propose plans for preventive maintenance and corrective action.
• Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
• In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
• Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
• A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills or an early people leader who can hire and develop talent. Provides informal guidance to new team members
   

Required Qualifications:

• Technical training in electromechanics (Engineer or engineering student)
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power BI, and experience with maintenance software;
• Experience with Project, AutoCAD, Inventor, and SolidWorks for developing improvement projects;
• Knowledge of AXAPTA and Gensuite systems (Safety Management);
• Knowledge of 5S, TPM, Kaizen, LEAN tools, and improvement projects in general;
• Previous experience in preventive/corrective/predictive maintenance execution, maintenance planning and control, technical purchasing of materials and services, supplier negotiation, inventory control, and technical leadership of teams;
• Ability to transfer knowledge through theoretical and practical training;
• Ability to manage the maintenance backlog and delegate execution to the execution teams;
• Proactive profile with a strong focus on EHS and Quality
• Knowledge of our manufacturing process and critical equipment, such as: bonding machines, infusion machines, degassers, overhead cranes, suction systems, painting systems, electromechanical mold systems, balancing system, planers, sanders/manual rotary equipment in general, knife carts, etc.
