What impact you’ll make

As an Operations Leader of Spain and Portugal, you will lead regional operations across engineering, project management and supply chain functions, and you will be an active contributor to driving operational excellence, ensuring safety, quality, on-time delivery and cost efficiency while achieving Product and Service P&L objectives and supporting sustainable backlog growth.

Job Description

What you’ll do

• Lead operational performance and execution excellence for Power Transmission products and services in Spain and Portugal.
• Ensure safety, quality, on-time delivery and cost efficiency across engineering, project management, supply chain and field execution.
• Own full regional product profit and loss responsibility, including sales, margins, billing, cash collection, inventory and overdue receivables.
• Drive end-to-end project execution to meet customer commitments within scope, budget and schedule.
• Strengthen local execution capabilities through process optimization, standardization and continuous improvement.
• Build strong partnerships with internal factories and service units to ensure reliable supply and delivery.
• Support commercial growth by enabling a healthy order backlog through competitive costing and delivery commitments.
• Build, lead and develop high-performing operations, project management and site teams.
• Act as the primary operational interface for key customers, ensuring satisfaction and long-term relationships.

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

•  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, Administration or a related field.
• Professional experience in project management roles within the energy or industrial sector.
• Proven experience leading projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Ability to travel on a monthly basis.
• Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.

• Portuguese language skills.
• Financial experience, including profit and loss management.
• Experience with Lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices. 
• Strong communication, conflict management, leadership, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
