Umfasst auf Stundenbasis beschäftigte, tarifliche und außertarifliche Mitarbeiter sowie Managerfunktionen, die ausschließlich für diese Tätigkeiten verantwortlich sind. Beeinflusst die Qualität der eigenen Arbeit und der Arbeit anderer im Team.Führt betriebliche/technische Standardaufgaben aus, die in der Regel Anweisungen und Arbeitsabläufen unterliegen.Möglicherweise besteht Spielraum, um die Reihenfolge zu ändern und Aufgaben/Pflichten basierend auf sich ändernden Arbeitssituationen zu erledigen.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop new manufacturing and repair process technology to assist component teams in implementing repair strategies or fulfilling factory NPI requirements.
• This role will focus more on developing machining process.
• Create a validation plan for repair materials/process technology in conjunction with New Repair Introduction engineers.
• Ensure the successful transfer of development processes and validate repair service centers' qualifications and certifications for their repair procedures.
• Monitor and communicate project status, business issues, and significant developments.
• Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
• Provide continuous improvement support and seek opportunities to enhance processes across the repair network.
• Utilize lean-manufacturing values for daily work and participate in action workouts to improve process capability, reduce overall costs, and increase capacity
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while embracing and driving positive change inside and outside the organization when appropriate.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Welding, Materials, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent engineering degree.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• General understanding of processes knowledge used for repair of industrial gas turbine components.
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external customers.
• Understanding of lean methodology.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel a minimum of 10% of the time, as required.
