Job Description Summary

Verantwortlich für die Erleichterung von Transaktionen, die Herstellung, Montage und Lieferung von Ersatz-/Reparaturteilen und -geräten im Rahmen eines Servicevertrags oder -auftrages.
Beinhaltet Aktivitäten wie das Verarbeiten von Transaktionen, das Verwalten von Prozessen, die Materialverwaltung, den Betrieb vor Ort oder die Lagerlogistik und den Versand, manchmal in einer Ladenstruktur. Beinhaltet handwerkliche und nicht handwerkliche Arbeitskräfte sowie Managerfunktionen, die ausschließlich für diese Aufgaben verantwortlich sind. Beeinflusst den Abteilungsbetrieb und ist verantwortlich für die Planung/Ausführung.Die Rolle hat eine gewisse Autonomie, konzentriert sich jedoch auf die Ausführung von Aktivitäten innerhalb einer operativen Disziplin, die durch funktionale Standardpraktiken und -verfahren abgedeckt wird.Möglicherweise ist ein gewisses Urteilsvermögen erforderlich, dies erfolgt jedoch in der Regel unter Anleitung.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Materials Planning & Execution

  • Execute and maintain materials planning activities to support production schedules and ensure material availability
  • Manage and optimize MRP parameters (lead time, safety stock, reorder point, lot size, MOQ)
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, balancing stock availability and excess/obsolete risks
  • Identify and resolve material shortages, working closely with production and procurement teams

  Production & Operations Integration

  • Work closely with production planning, shop-floor teams, and warehouse to align material supply with operational needs
  • Translate production plans into material requirements and execution plans
  • Support urgent operational issues (e.g. line-stop risks, late deliveries) in a timely manner

  Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze material flow and inventory data to identify root causes and improvement opportunities
  • Drive initiatives to improve: planning accuracy, inventory turnover, service level / material availability
  • Contribute to improving planning processes and system usage (ERP/MRP)

  Leadership & Ownership

  • Take ownership of planning scope and proactively drive decisions, not just execution
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders (production, procurement, logistics) to ensure alignment
  • Support and guide team members where needed, contributing to overall team capability
  • Act as a key point of accountability for materials availability performance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.

• 6+ years of supply chain experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.

• Experience in Materials Planning / Production Planning / Supply Planning within a manufacturing or plant environment

• Hands-on experience with:

  MRP / ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
  Inventory planning and control
  Material availability management

• Strong understanding of:

  MRP logic
  Inventory management principles
  Production-material integration

• Experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar).

• Knowledge of customs, import/export regulations, and compliance processes.

• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

• Good communication in English and ability to work in technical environment.
