Responsable des activités liées à la construction, à l'élaboration et à la mise en service sur le site du client, de la mobilisation du site aux travaux de génie civil, de montage et de mise en service, en passant par les activités de gestion liées à ce domaine. Exerce une influence sur les opérations département et est responsable de la planification et/ou de l'exécution. Ce rôle jouit d'une certaine autonomie, mais est axé sur l'exécution d'activités au sein d'une discipline opérationnelle couverte par les pratiques et procédures fonctionnelles standard. Un certain discernement peut être nécessaire, mais généralement dans le cadre d'une orientation.

Job Description Summary
To ensure all commissioning and site activities are carried out to the highest standards of health, safety and quality, in full compliance with GE Vernova Grid and client policies, international standards and local regulations. The role encompasses both hands-on commissioning of Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) and the technical support of site teams, including the authoring of key engineering documents such as Methods of Statement, test procedures and risk assessments.

Operations:
•    Accountable for the overall quality and integrity of the GIS installation process on site
•    Supervise and coordinate daily site activities, ensuring work is carried out in accordance with agreed timescales, costs and quality standards
•    Act as the main technical interface between site teams, subcontractors and client representatives
•    Responsible for the raising, submission and site closure of NCPs (Non-Conformity Projects) and NCRs
•    Liaise between the GIS product unit and the client on product and installation issues
•    Responsible for raising and issuing site installation RAMS, TQs, Variations and Site Instructions
•    Ensure accurate on-site records, test reports, punch-lists and quality documentation are produced, filed and circulated in accordance with GE internal governance and quality plans
•    Participate in and support SAT (Site Acceptance Tests) with the client
•    Interact with the Belgian grid operator Elia on technical and scheduling matters
•    Promote safe working practices and continual improvement of GE Vernova's site safety culture
•    Shared responsibility for evaluation, appraisal and development of GE and subcontractor technicians

Planning Support:
•    Create and issue site planning documentation, including look-ahead schedules (3-week, 6-week rolling), to support daily and weekly site management and ensure alignment of all site activities with the overall project program.
•    Monitor actual progress against baseline, identify deviations and report to the Project Manager
•    Liaise with site teams and subcontractors to collect accurate progress data
•    Support the identification of critical path activities and schedule risks
•    Contribute to the preparation of Method of Statement (MoS) activity sequencing and planning sections
•    Produce timely progress reports and schedule updates for the Project Manager and client

Financial Control:
•    Organize and execute work within agreed program, timescales and costs
•    Monitor resource utilization and flag budget deviations to the Project Manager

Qualifications / Requirements:
•    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems
•    3 to 10 years of experience in HV substation or GIS installation, in a site-based role
•    Experience in schedule monitoring and reporting is an asset (MS project and/or P6)
•    Knowledge of Belgian regulatory framework
