​Roles and Responsibilities

• Setup state of the art lean manufacturing line for high voltage condenser bushings

• Define & track project milestone and align activities with project priorities to meet timelines.

• Prepare machine specs and create technical drawings and documents, industrial layouts - 2D / 3D mechanical / assembly drawings using AutoCAD / CREO.

• Lead supplier interactions to address technical queries and visit suppliers for follow up, machine inspections / FATs etc.

• Collaborate with teams for smooth installation & commissioning of machines as per project timelines and address issues on time to avoid delays.

• Build strong relationships with stakeholders for project success.

Required Qualifications

• BE / B Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 8 - 12 years of experience in high-voltage condenser bushings.

• Knowledge of AutoCAD and CREO preferred.

Desired Characteristics

• Strong communication skills.

• Deep knowledge & understanding of design, manufacturing & industrial concepts related to high-voltage condenser bushings.

• Hands on experience with Condenser core winding machines, Drying Ovens / Autoclaves, Vacuum & Resin systems, Oil treatment plants, Oil manifold stations and handling equipment

• Hands on experience with industrial automation systems (SCADA / PLC / Drives) & preventive maintenance of complex machines to minimize breakdown & trouble shooting when necessary to ensure high level of machine availability for production

• Understanding of national & international standards related to High voltage condenser bushings and associated mechanical components

• Basic understanding of High voltage test infrastructure & type testing activities.

• Ability to create technical specs for manufacturing equipment.

• Experience with AutoCAD, CREO, SAP, and MS Office Suite.

• Understanding of BOM & cost structure.

• Attention to detail for ensuring highest quality standards and ability to trouble shoot, carryout root cause analysis and document the findings to improve the process / train the team to avoid recurrence.

• Strong interfunction and project stakeholder interaction skills.

• Ability to define and track project milestones and report to leadership in the interest of smooth execution of the project & realize the project targets.
