Job Description Summary
To plan and execute major projects from transfer meeting with Sales and managing the QCD of the entire execution process by ensuring on time delivery and installation according to contractual terms, high level of customer satisfaction and controlling and improving the Gross Margin and cash related to contracts.The position includes coordination of transportation & logistics, customer interface, scheduling, communication, sourcing, and coordination of equipment installations.
The PM will coordinate with global GE factory project management teams on Engineering, manufacturing, transportation, and installation.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Non-supervisory role that is responsible for customer project management. Works with diverse clients in a region and Global GE Factory's, based on predefined contracts and frameworks.
The PM is responsible for all Project Management activities including development of overall project schedule, project plan, communication plan, contract management, project financial performance/budget, identification/management of risk and maintaining project risk register, monthly project reviews as well as identifying and implementation of lessons learned.
Serve as primary interface to customer to complete projects on schedule, control job costs at or below budget, and manage change orders to increase job profitability. PM completes projects from order handover through manufacturing, logistics, coordination of local field resources, onsite activities and through warranty.
Work with GE factories regarding warranty support, Communicate contract and schedule requirements. Reviews sub-supplier documents to ensure compliance with project requirements (specifications, performance, cost, schedule…)
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering, Business and Project Management
Minimum of 4 years of experience in project management, engineering, manufacturing, or related field.
~10% of Travel

Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $87,000.00 and $145,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
