Job Description Summary
Détient globalement l'activité de contrôle de projet et définit des spécifications fonctionnelles cohérentes et des processus globaux communs pour la mise en œuvre des projets. Activités menées pour mieux comprendre ou répondre à terme aux attentes du client Responsable de la planification et/ou de l'exécution des opérations du département ou axé sur l'exécution d'activités professionnelles au sein d'une discipline technique. Fonctions dotées d'une certaine autonomie, mais guidées par les politiques établies ou l'analyse des résultats finaux.Ce poste est autorisé à modifier les procédures et les pratiques en relation avec les tâches dans la mesure où les résultats finaux répondent aux normes d'acceptabilité (qualité, volume, respect des délais, etc.).
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership:
- Act as the primary technical coordinator for the HVDC scope.
- Liaise with regional teams and product lines to consolidate technical deliverables.
- Project Coordination:
- Manage the technical schedule, ensuring alignment across HVDC engineering functions.
- Ensure timely submission of tender documents.
- Budgeting and Resources:
- Assist in defining the project engineering budget.
- Ensure proper allocation of resources for each work package.
- Customer Relations:
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements.
- Conduct detailed clause-by-clause analyses and coordinate technical responses to customer queries.
- Document and Configuration Management:
- Organize and validate all technical documents.
- Ensure consistency before final submission.
- Pre-engineering Expediting:
- Monitor the on-time delivery of technical outputs.
- Ensure designs meet contract requirements and cost optimization strategies.
- Risk Management:
- Consolidate and manage project risks and opportunities.
- Develop mitigation plans as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in engineering roles within EPC environments (T&D, Power Generation, Oil & Gas), with specific expertise in HVDC technology.
- Proven ability to lead complex technical projects.
- Strong presentation and communication skills to deliver technical information concisely and clearly.
- Strong relationship-building and excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong decision-making skills.
- Ability to inspire teams to meet goals, even in dynamic environments.
- Willingness to travel and work across regions to manage tendering activities worldwide.
