Job Description Summary

The Power Conversion and Storage (PCS) North Europe Profit & Loss Services Leader will be a key member of the extended leadership team supporting the region to achieve the P&L targets.

He/she will provide strategic direction, commercial growth whilst ensuring operating mechanisms are in place and building organizational capabilities to improve business performance.

He / she will support the regions to implement a Services organization with world class standards, driving high customer satisfaction and strong Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost performance.

He / will continue to develop Services through higher localization in the Region and systematic joint Service/Product offering.

Job Description

As Region Services leader, will have overall responsibility for Services activities in the region in terms of :

-           EHS / FSE Safety

-           Commercial orders intake (O/I) growth

-           Operations, delivery, & execution

-           Strategy, Growth and business development

-           Quality & Customer Satisfaction

-           Financial performance, P&L

Essential Responsibilities 

  • Develop the right strategy for the Services business across North Europe to address market needs and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the full Service regional P&L, with strong focus on S, Q, D, C, while ensuring team is capable of delivering on-time commercial, technical and field service solutions
  • Work closely with the Business Units within region and other P&L to identify new opportunities.
  • Improve cross Business Units communication & leveraging synergies ensuring a cohesive, empowered and accountable team
  • Assure developing & Safety of Field Service Engineers (FSEs)
  • Develop regional autonomy for tendering & engineering
  • Define the Service Delivery model describing our offering and update policies
  • Strengthen our rigor in backlog management
  • Ensure appropriate organization design, talent and resources management, business culture, change and risk management. Continue to simplify the organization structure and drive more accountability.
  • Establish manpower requirements and partner with regions and HR to execute workforce planning exercise for Services Operations
  • Develop the team and talent pipeline

Qualifications/Requirements  

  • Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration  
  • Significant experience in a senior leadership role. 
  • Deep business knowledge and experience running a P&L
  • Customer focused and strong relationship building skills  
  • Sound business acumen and track record of delivering results  
  • Strong leadership skills including managing cross functional team 
  • High energy with the ability to inspire and motivate others 
  • Strong communication skills and executive presence  
  • Ability to influence in a matrix and drive change  
  • Clear thinking and sound decision-making skills  
  • High resilience and able to cope under pressure 
  • Demonstrated acceptance and adherence to high ethical, moral and personal values
