What impact you’ll make
As an On Site Services Specialist of the Field Services Engineering team, you will be an active contributor to the execution of preventive and remedial maintenance activities and the management of on-site service operations to ensure product performance and customer satisfaction.

What you’ll do

• Perform on-site life extension, repair, inspection, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities at customer facilities.
• Execute standard operational and technical tasks in accordance with established procedures, ensuring quality and safety compliance.
• Apply and continuously expand technical knowledge within own discipline to support service strategies and policies.
• Understand key business drivers and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve operational objectives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using sound judgment, escalating complex matters to senior team members when necessary.
• Exercise autonomy within a defined framework to make technical decisions based on changing work situations.
• Lead junior technicians or subcontractor teams when required, ensuring timely and high-quality execution.
• Serve as the primary on-site interface between the customer and GE Vernova, building strong customer relationships.
• Be available for overtime work based on project needs and in compliance with local labor regulations

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in Services & On-Site activities, including erection, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of High, Medium, or Low Voltage electrical equipment.
•  Native Greek speaker.
•  Intermediate level of English (written and spoken).

• Specialty in HV AIS or GIS substations.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with SAP environment.
• Strong technical background with potential to lead field teams and a solid EHS mindset prioritizing SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost).
• Results-driven, with willingness to grow professionally and ability to work under tight time schedules while ensuring safety, transparency, and integrity.
