Job Description Summary
L'ingénierie des systèmes est une discipline d'ingénierie interfonctionnelle axée sur une approche, un état d'esprit et un processus. Toutes les activités qui tiennent compte des besoins à la fois commerciaux et techniques des clients dans le but de fournir un produit de qualité qui réponde aux besoins des utilisateurs. Discipline qui exécute un processus robuste de conception, de création et d’optimisation de systèmes, comprenant l’identification et la quantification des exigences système, la création de concepts de conception de système alternatifs, la réalisation d’études commerciales de conception, la sélection et la mise en œuvre des meilleures conceptions et la vérification que la conception est correctement intégrée et exécutée. Processus allant du concept à l'exploitation en passant par la production.Exerce un impact sur les approches, projets et programmes du domaine fonctionnel ou de l'organisation et des méthodes de travail affectées. Influe sur la qualité, l'efficacité et l'efficience de sa propre équipe. Contribue significativement à l'élaboration des priorités. Se fonde sur des pratiques et des politiques professionnelles façonnées par le rôle. Le rôle dispose d'une autonomie modérée, nécessitant un haut niveau de discernement opérationnel.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
· Responsible for leading LV references solution and supporting projects team on key subjects. This includes, among others, the following activities:
• Requirement & Design
• Engineering Design Process & Review
• Reviewing and approving key technical documents
• Customer interface and training
· Support the business Tendering, Operations, Contractual and After Sales needs.
· Provide technical guidance that influences outcomes to other people.
· Play a key role in engineering design reviews and technical leadership, identifying potential project risks and technical weaknesses and proposing safe, reliable and compliant solutions.
· Execute and provide guidance for the analysis/evaluation of assigned projects that meet business standards, practices and procedures and the product/project requirements.
· Responsible to define strategies and roadmap for development of the team.
· Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
· Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations.
· Continuously improving the product in terms of delivery speed, stability, and reliability.
· Responsible for knowledge capitalisation.
Required Qualifications
· Degree in Electronics/Electrical engineering or proven equivalent knowledge and experience in HVDC business.
· Minimum of 15 years’ experience in LV Secondary System design in HVDC projects or equivalent Engineering field.
· Ability to understand and communicate customer requirements, ownership of technical discussions with customers and capable of developing client relationships.
· Strong oral and written communication skills.
· Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
· Problem Solving skills: Demonstrated ability to analyse and resolve problems.
· Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects; Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
· Proven technical leadership in a complex system engineering development environment.
· Proven experience of cross-functional technical leadership.
· Experience in knowledge management, knowledge capitalisation, training and mentoring.
· Decision maker and resourceful: capability to take decisions when needed and pull in experts as/when needed.
· Track records of designing quality systems/components that comply with safety requirements, exceed design requirements, beat cost targets, and exceed reliability targets.
· Continuous Improvement mindset.

· Willing/Available to travel (~10 to 20% of time) to support projects delivery activities.
