Job Description Summary

Responsible for facilitating transactions, producing, assembling and delivering replacement/ repair parts and equipment as part of a Services agreement or order.
Includes activities such as processing transactions, managing processes, material management, site operations, or warehouse logistics & shipping, sometimes in a shop structure. Includes craft & non craft labour as well as manager roles responsible solely for these activities. Accountable for the quality of own work. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. Executes within a well-defined operations framework. There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Screen and prioritize incoming requests received via Salesforce (NEX) or via email. 

  • Enter Quotes/Orders into SAP/Oracle based ERP System.

  • Purchase Order Verify (POV) existing orders. 

  • Send out initial customer quote and order acknowledgements. 

  • Keep key contact between QFS, Sales, Order Manager 

  • Support global team entry activities and metrics. 

  • Support both external and internal customers 

  • Support new system releases and enhancement testing (i.e. SAP PMx ERP, Oracle Alpha ERP, NEX, etc.).    

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications) 

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.

  • Relevant experience in customer service is an advantage, experience in a multinational company is a plus.

  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office software

  • Confident communication level of spoken and written English and fluent Spanish knowledge is a must

  • Capabilities to effectively communicate both horizontally and vertically with customers and within GE Vernova organizations 

  • Solid communication skills, self-motivated, ability to establish and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
