Job Description Summary

The Systems Integration team is focused on the integration activities within System Simulation disciplines and with the Segment and Subsystem Engineering teams, and is responsible for the Operations of the subsystem. The technical coordination activities range from wind turbine systems modeling, performance, loads analysis, control tuning and acoustics for New Products, Cost-out and Fleet support, as well as turbine sitting and wind farm optimization.

The team is seeking a Subsystem Program Manager, to work alongside the Subsystem Operations Leader and SysSim SILs within the team, that will have responsibility for managing subsystem integrated schedules for New Product Introduction (NPI) programs for the subsystem over their full lifecycle.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Own the development and maintenance of integrated program schedules for NPI programs in the subsystem during their whole lifecycle, in coordination with the Subsystem SIL and Functional Managers (FMs) and key internal stakeholders outside the subsystem (Systems, Product line, rest of subsystems). Ensure alignment to the overall program plan at systems level and facilitate gap identification.
  • Coordinate with key internal stakeholders both during the NPI program schedule conception phase and during execution for need dates identification and alignment for the key subsystem milestones.
  • Support SILs and design teams during execution, maintaining schedules up to date and early roadblock identification. Support SILs and FMs during problem solving exercises, both from a programmatic, resource and technical standpoint, with close connection to the Internal stakeholders outside the subsystem.
  • Support or lead scenario planning for NPIs in close connection with SILs and subsystem stakeholders, at any stage of an NPI.
  • Support the Subsystem Operations Leader for a smooth, efficient and rigorous NPI Daily Management of the Subsystem, and provide the necessary inputs to support the different metrics and regular reports needed for the subsystem operations.
  • Support the Subsystem Operations Leader in the development and maintenance of the Subsystem Operations standard work.
