Job Description Summary
L'ingénierie des systèmes est une discipline d'ingénierie interfonctionnelle axée sur une approche, un état d'esprit et un processus. Toutes les activités qui tiennent compte des besoins à la fois commerciaux et techniques des clients dans le but de fournir un produit de qualité qui réponde aux besoins des utilisateurs. Discipline qui exécute un processus robuste de conception, de création et d’optimisation de systèmes, comprenant l’identification et la quantification des exigences système, la création de concepts de conception de système alternatifs, la réalisation d’études commerciales de conception, la sélection et la mise en œuvre des meilleures conceptions et la vérification que la conception est correctement intégrée et exécutée. Processus allant du concept à l'exploitation en passant par la production.Responsable de la qualité de son travail. Assujetti à la supervision directe des opérations, aux instructions de travail prescrites et à une vérification système. Exécute ses tâches dans un cadre opérationnel bien défini. Il y dispose généralement d'une séquence détaillée des tâches opérationnelles standard à suivre pour obtenir le résultat final escompté.
Job Description
Our Technical Assistants are vital support members who work closely with the Service Engineering Lead Engineer and the wider service engineering team to ensure the successful execution and enhancement of our systems. They provide essential technical and administrative support for service activities, helping to deliver valuable system solutions with excellent operational rigour.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support: • Assist the Lead Engineer and multidiscipline engineering team in power systems, power conversion, automation, control, and mechanical integration projects • Support preparation of technical documentation, reports, and project deliverables • Assist with testing procedures, commissioning activities, and system upgrades under supervision • Help co-ordinate technical activities between Commissioning, Service, and third-party teams
Project Administration: • Support monitoring and tracking of service engineering project budgets and timelines • Assist with project documentation management and filing systems • Help maintain design reviews, quality control records, and change management documentation • Support risk management processes and compliance with company guidelines
Team Co-ordination: • Facilitate communication between engineering disciplines and project stakeholders • Assist in scheduling meetings, site visits, and technical reviews • Support improvement initiatives and cost optimisation plans • Help co-ordinate with teams from other business units as required
Customer and Technical Interface: • Assist with customer communications and technical enquiries under guidance • Support preparation of technical presentations and customer documentation • Help translate customer requirements into actionable technical tasks • Assist with component specification activities for drives, motors, transformers, and switchboards

Qualifications and Experience
Essential Requirements: • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related technical discipline • 0-3 years of experience in engineering or technical support roles • Basic understanding of power engineering, electrical systems, or automation • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and technical documentation tools
Preferred Qualifications: • Exposure to power generation, conversion, transmission, or distribution systems • Familiarity with LV and MV electrical systems, drives, and motors • Experience with project co-ordination or technical administration • Knowledge of quality control and documentation management systems • Customer service orientation and professional communication skills • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary team environments
