Job Description Summary
Responsible for developing and executing funding, liquidity and exposure management strategies for the enterprise. Includes debt issuance, alternative funding and investment management. Analyzes and manages the firm's liquidity positions and risks to provide for both regulatory and operational demands. Aggregates exposures, analyzes risks, develops strategies to address and manages related trade execution. In addition, responsible for treasury activities including cash management, creditor relations and capital planning. Treasury is the primary interface with investors in the firm's fixed income bonds and notes programs, and with the firm's bank network and other liquidity providers. Treasury staff also have responsibility for managing bank lines of credit, and the control and movement of the firm's cash and cash positions. Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for assessing company-wide asset and liability exposure and entering into appropriate off-setting transactions to mitigate those risks as appropriate. Manage and conduct analytical work to identify FX, interest rate and other risks in GE Vernova balance sheet exposures. Employs sophisticated analytics to determine appropriate hedging strategies. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Evaluates emerging regulatory guidelines.

Required Qualifications
Bachelors’ degree or equivalent knowledge or experience in accounting, finance, or other business-related field and significant progressive accounting or finance experience.
Extensive experience working with financial systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear/concise manner.
Strong analytical skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change.
Clear thinking/problem solving successfully led projects/process improvements within operations/finance functions; able to quickly grasp new ideas.
Integrity: accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions and when dealing with others.
Confidence/Assertiveness: strong leadership and influencing skills, experience with team members.
Desired Characteristics
Proven expertise in treasury, cash management, or risk management, in a multinational environment.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Treasury Management Systems and advanced Excel.
Demonstrated ability working in cross functional teams or in matrixed organization with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows.
Prior experience/ exposure working with GE’s financial/ operational processes and IT applications is preferred. However, commensurate experience in other organizations can be considered.
Has very good understanding of risks and controls and is able to apply it in the context of achieving business objectives.
Has strong interpersonal and communication skills
