The Opportunity
We are looking for one highly motivated student (working student, apprentice, or master’s thesis candidate — or a combination) to support the development and implementation of a revised global Key / Strategic Account Management framework at GE Vernova.
This role offers a unique combination of strategic thinking, academic rigor, and real‑world impact — working closely with experienced professionals across a global organization.
Your Responsibilities
Depending on your profile and interest, your work may include:
Researching Key Account Management (KAM) in B2B environments (academic and practical literature)
Identifying, selecting, and applying best‑practice methods and tools
Gathering and structuring relevant data and insights
Contributing to the design of a revised GE Vernova KAM/SAM framework
Developing presentations, training content, and learning materials
Collaborating with the GSI Academy on training concepts and pedagogical solutions
Working cross‑functionally with teams across the global GE Vernova organization
Defining key capability criteria for KAM/SAM roles
Supporting the development of KAM/SAM assessments
Engaging with Key Account Managers globally to understand regional requirements
Supporting account mapping.
Collaborating with experts to develop structured processes.
Contributing to related initiatives connected to the above topics
For candidates with deeper academic interest, a Master’s thesis topic (or exceptional Bachelor’s thesis) can be jointly defined based on this work.
Location & Availability
Preferred location: Berlin‑Marienfelde
On‑site presence is strongly preferred (with flexibility during exam or study periods)
Your Profile
You are:
Curious, self‑driven, and comfortable working independently
Studying Business Administration, Marketing, Business Psychology, or a related field
Comfortable navigating uncertainty and new terrain
Able to communicate effectively in complex, multicultural environments
Confident interacting across different hierarchical levels
Fluent in German and English
