Job Description Summary

Aero Alliance Operations Shipping Line Leader will be a key role in Aero Alliance Avenza Shop organization. She/He will be responsible to lead and coordinate shop floor logistic, packing and shipping activities within the Material & Planning organization in the Avenza Shop ensuring flawless execution in terms of EHS, Quality and fulfillment requirements. She/He will be reporting to Material & Planning Leader for Aero Alliance Avenza Shop.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

    • Manage a team of hourly logistic shop operators and salaried logistic specialists to ensure EHS, Quality and Delivery targets, leading regular inspections and company culture values adoption.

    • Manage the internal Logistic Shipping process executing the Outbound medium term plan for shipments, disassembled material distribution to internal departments and all shipping activities to meet internal KPI targets.

    • Manage the Indirect Material receiving and distribution process at shop floor level ensuring correct tracking and replenishment of indirect material stock.

    • Daily short term plan of shift-by-shift tasks to meet internal targets for shipping process and indirect material management.

    • Lean Management System strategy adoption, with particular focus on development of process/work standardization, DMS and problem solving, continuous improvement through gemba walks and team kaizens.

    • Creation and development of internal KPIs and performance analysis to drive department improvement initiatives and TAT reduction.

    • Work in synchronization with other Gates teams collaborating to get TAT/OTD targets and the planned financial results of the company

Qualifications / Requirements

    • Engineering, business or logistic degree from an accredited university or college

    • Proven experience in Supply Chain/Logistics mgmt roles

    • Ability to adapt to / drive change across a global team in a dynamic business environment

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to urgent requests in a timely manner

    • Ability to make decisions with speed and accuracy based on best available information

    • Reading, writing and speaking fluency in Italian and English languages

    • EU work permit
