Job Description Summary

As a Blade Service Technician, you will be responsible for the professional repair of wind turbine blade composite structures. You will be deployed to specific site locations to carry out repairs in a rotational system. Work is performed from the ground, via service platforms, or using rope access techniques, depending on site requirements and your certifications.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Composite Repairs: Execute high-quality wind turbine blade repairs using epoxy resin systems according to technical specifications.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate service documentation and prepare detailed repair reports.
  • EHS (Health & Safety): Strictly adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and local regulatory requirements on-site.
  • Technical Cooperation: Collaborate with the engineering team regarding ongoing repairs and support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in wind turbine blade repairs using epoxy laminate technology.
  • Driving License: Valid category B driving license is required; category B+E is preferred (if you do not hold B+E, we will support you in obtaining these qualifications).
  • Working Environment: Ability to work at heights (up to 160m) and readiness for frequent international travel.
  • Certifications: Rope Access certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Language: Communicative level of English (necessary for reading technical documentation and reporting).
