GE Vernova Financial Services (FS) Capital Markets team is recruiting Summer Analyst for a 10-week internship. The ideal candidate is a highly-motivated individual interested in the energy sector.

Essential Responsibilities

The focus of the Capital Markets team is to enable sales of GE Vernova equipment and services by facilitating third party financing for customers. The team works closely with the GE Vernova businesses and also with a large number of Export Credit Agencies (“ECAs”), International and Regional Banks, Development Finance Institutions (“DFIs”) and other providers of capital. Summer analyst will be exposed to financial modeling, deal documentation, credit analysis, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities may include the following:

• Analyze and/or develop financial models, projections and project finance cashflows.
• Analyze customer operations and finances to determine creditworthiness
• Conduct industry/company research and analysis
• Assist in preparation of credit requests and other deal specific documentation
• Maintain deal management information systems that are leveraged for the preparation of internal reports
• Independently develop and execute projects aimed at improving business processes
• Assist the team with running a competitive process to select most appropriate financial institution to support a specific transaction 
• Support the completion and submission of ECA applications.
• Support all aspects of ongoing servicing activities and serve as primary point of contact for commercial financing transactions according to detailed requirements and operational procedures.
• Assist in the underwriting of new transactions, as well as asset management and syndication
• Handle projects to ensure administrative compliance with deal terms and establish, implement, and monitor reporting metrics.
• Possess good understanding of procedures and concepts within own subject area.
• Possess good understanding of how the team integrates with other teams in accomplishing the objectives

Qualifications/Requirements

• Anticipated graduation in Spring/Summer 2026/2027 from a bachelor’s program
• Majors: Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Economics or related
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Undergraduate/rising senior
• Experience working with, proficient with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
