Leading a dedicated operations team, this leader ensures that every authorized partner is properly qualified, equipped, governed, and supported throughout their lifecycle, enabling the commercial teams to focus on revenue generation and market growth. The ideal candidate is a disciplined operational leader who combines deep domain expertise in electrification solutions with process rigor, ensuring that GE Vernova’s channel partner operations reflect the company’s commitment to electrifying and decarbonizing the world while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and operational discipline.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a channel operations team responsible for the end-to-end partner lifecycle—onboarding, ongoing maintenance, training, performance monitoring, and offboarding—ensuring operational readiness to support the commercial organization’s revenue objectives across the Electrification segment

  • Manage the authorized channel partner onboarding process end-to-end—including qualification assessments, due diligence coordination with Compliance, agreement execution, system setup, and initial enablement—ensuring new partners (distributors, value-added resellers, system integrators, and EPC partners) are operational and aligned to GE Vernova’s standards before engaging commercially

  • Administer and maintain the partner tiering and certification framework, tracking partner compliance with performance thresholds, competency requirements, and contractual obligations; coordinate with Compliance to ensure ongoing adherence to GE Vernova’s integrity, trade control, and regulatory requirements

  • Own the partner training and enablement operations—coordinating certification programs, commercial toolkits, product updates, and platform access—to ensure authorized channel partners maintain current knowledge of GE Vernova’s Electrification solutions (switchgear, transformers, protection & control, grid automation)

  • Execute partner offboarding processes when required—including contract termination coordination, system deactivation, transition planning, and knowledge transfer—in close partnership with Legal, Compliance, and the commercial team to minimize business disruption and protect GE Vernova’s interests

  • Maintain accurate partner records, documentation, and operational data within GE Vernova’s CRM (Salesforce) and partner management systems; provide the commercial organization with reliable pipeline support, deal registration administration, and reporting to enable informed decision-making

  • Establish and enforce channel governance policies—including deal registration rules, pricing guardrails, territory management, and channel conflict resolution protocols—in close coordination with Compliance, Legal, and Finance to ensure all partner activities meet GE Vernova’s integrity and trade control standards

  • Support the commercial organization in quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and annual partner planning sessions by preparing data-driven performance scorecards, partner health assessments, and operational readiness reports

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Marketing, Supply Chain, Services, Compliance, and Finance to ensure seamless partner operations, resolve operational escalations, and continuously improve channel processes

  • Serve as the operational voice of the channel internally surfacing process gaps, partner readiness issues, and compliance risks to commercial leadership and recommending corrective actions to improve partner experience and operational efficiency

  • Monitor partner operational performance metrics (onboarding cycle time, training completion rates, compliance audit results, offboarding timeliness) and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence across the channel ecosystem

  • Ensure authorized channel partners maintain compliance with GE Vernova’s brand standards, safety protocols, sustainability commitments, and contractual obligations throughout the partner lifecycle, escalating non-compliance to Compliance and commercial leadership as appropriate

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in channel operations, partner lifecycle management, or commercial operations support within the electrical/power/energy sector, with a strong preference for electrification, power distribution, or grid solutions environments

  • Demonstrated track record of building and scaling channel operations infrastructure—including partner onboarding programs, training systems, compliance processes, and performance monitoring frameworks—in support of commercial revenue objectives

  • Deep expertise in channel partner lifecycle processes—including onboarding workflows, partner certification programs, compliance coordination, performance management, and offboarding procedures

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate across commercial, compliance, legal, and finance teams and present operational updates to senior leadership

  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, Power BI or similar analytics tools, and experience with channel management platforms (e.g., partner portals, PRM systems)

  • Working knowledge of commercial terms, contract structures, and compliance frameworks relevant to indirect sales channels (e.g., distribution agreements, authorized reseller terms, export controls, anti-corruption policies) and ability to coordinate with Compliance to enforce them

  • Willingness to travel up to 40% domestically and internationally to engage with partners, attend industry events, and support regional business development

Desired Characteristics

  • Process-oriented leader with the ability to operate in a matrixed, fast-paced environment and drive operational outcomes through cross-functional coordination and team development

  • Passion for the energy transition and GE Vernova’s mission to electrify and decarbonize the world; motivated by enabling partner success and operational excellence in the Electrification segment

  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills; comfortable using metrics and KPIs to manage partner performance and optimize channel investments

  • Proven ability to build and sustain trusted working relationships across a diverse set of stakeholders—including channel partners, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, and the commercial sales teams this role supports

  • Lean/continuous improvement mindset with experience applying operational excellence methodologies to channel processes (e.g., partner onboarding cycle time, order accuracy, funnel conversion rates)

  • Resilient, detail-oriented leader with a solutions-oriented approach, comfort managing competing priorities, and a track record of delivering operational results with integrity and accountability
