Role Summary / Purpose

Seeking a Civil Engineering professional with experience in the nuclear power generation industry to support advanced structural analysis activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tasks, and experience with specialized engineering tools. This role requires a solid foundation in seismic engineering and finite element methods to support complex project needs in a dynamic work environment

Essential Responsibilities

  • Analysis of structures, including concrete and steel, use of finite element method analyses.
  • Knowledge with Eurocodes in general and polish codes in particular
  • Working with the following codes is preferred but not required: ASCE 43, ASCE 4, ACI 349 & 318, ASCE 7, IBC, and AISC N690, Steel Construction Manual and Seismic Design Manual.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Civil Engineering degree
  • Finite Element Analysis experience including seismic and non-seismic building analysis
  • Proficiency in ANSYS APDL is highly preferred. With the ability to build detailed models, perform static and seismic runs, and develop or modify post-processing scripts
  • Computer programing skills (e.g. Matlab, or Python) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in concrete, steel and composite structures analysis and design
  • Professional certification is preferred
