Gas Power Services organization delivers IT solutions for global business comprised of commercial, distribution and services functions to our external customers. Our IT portfolio spans off the shelf products from global SW companies as well as custom solutions developed to meet internal customer needs with measurable outcomes. Our versatile team boasts unique expertise across enterprise technology platforms and business processes and collaborates across Gas Power Services as well as Power IT organizations to deliver IT solutions. As a key member of this team, you will help lead the change in simplifying our process and system landscape, improving productivity of our commercial and field services employees and operationalize AI without our systems.

Job Description

What you’ll do  

 

  • Lead a team of Digital Technology process managers/owners to focus on growing the team both from process and technical knowledge following the GE Vernova principles.  

  • Build strong partnership with Steam functional stakeholders; Collaborate with business, functional partners and technology leadership to define strategic and tactical roadmap of ERP Digital Capabilities.   

  • Responsible for driving scope, practices, and overall IT strategy for the central Finance processes Develop Target process model & solution design for business functions to provide productivity and drive alignment across all affected functional stakeholders applying lean methodology and emerging technologies (AI). 

  • Lead research and evaluation of emerging technology, including Agentic and Generative AI, industry and market trends to assist in project development for the Enterprise Solutions team. 

  • Manage risk and dependencies between organizations.   Establish governance structure that identifies key performance indicators, sets milestones, and establishes a reporting cadence.  

  • Drive ERP landscape simplification by collaborating with other value stream leaders as well as Data Lake reporting and Finance ecosystems.  Interface with business process owners and functional leaders to map out existing and future processes/sub-processes, data sources, data models, systems, and workflows into a common enterprise-wide data model within application framework.  

  • Act as the subject matter expert for Finance area processes and supporting applications functionalityGather Requirements and collaborate with functional partners for prioritizations to drive the business outcome. 

  • Collaborate cross-functionally, working with a variety of teams to identify and prioritize ways in which the product can support our internal processes, and our business users in more efficient and effective waysDemonstrate ability to influence functional and development partners through credible knowledge and experience, persuasion and influencing skills. 

 

 

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications) 

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with advanced experience or equivalent knowledge.

  • A minimum of 10 years of technical experience along with established leadership credentials across disciplines and functions within IT program/product areas.
