Job Description Summary
The Enterprise Solutions team deploys, enhances and manages all ERP platforms in the GE Vernova Power segment. Our versatile teamboasts unique expertise across enterprise technology platforms and business processes. As a key team leader in the Enterprise Solutions
Services Initiatives team, you will help lead the charge in simplifying the ERP landscape, transforming with Cloud-native technology and
operationalizing AI within our systems. The Director – Program Management PMx Initiatives is responsible for the delivery of highly complex
cross disciplined programs that span multiple organizations, various other stakeholders which could be within GE Vernova, customer
production support and operations, as well as partners. They will partner directly with PE functional counterparts to set goals & objectives on
business outcomes, agree on supporting ERP capabilities and critical design decisions, as well as deployment, operation/support and
continuous improvement priorities on platforms including but not limited to SAP PowerMax ERP.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
• Lead a team of Digital Technology ERP process managers/owners to focus on growing the team both from process and technical knowledge following the GE Vernova principles.
• Build strong partnership with PE functional stakeholders; Collaborate with business, functional partners and technology leadership to define strategic and tactical roadmap of ERP Digital Capabilities.
• Responsible for driving scope, practices, and overall IT strategy for the central Finance processes. Develop Target process model & solution design for business functions to provide productivity and drive alignment across all affected functional stakeholders applying lean methodology and emerging technologies (AI).
• Lead research and evaluation of emerging technology, including Agentic and Generative AI, industry and market trends to assist in project development for the Enterprise Solutions team.
• Manage risk and dependencies between organizations. Establish governance structure that identifies key performance indicators, sets milestones, and establishes a reporting cadence.
• Drive ERP landscape simplification by collaborating with other value stream leaders as well as Data Lake reporting and Finance ecosystems. Interface with business process owners and functional leaders to map out existing and future processes/sub-processes, data sources, data models, systems, and workflows into a common enterprise-wide data model within application framework.
• Act as the subject matter expert for Finance area processes and supporting applications functionality. Gather Requirements and collaborate with functional partners for prioritizations to drive the business outcome.
• Collaborate cross-functionally, working with a variety of teams to identify and prioritize ways in which the product can support our internal processes, and our business users in more efficient and effective ways. Demonstrate ability to influence functional and development partners through credible knowledge and experience, persuasion and influencing skills.
Education Qualification
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with advanced experience.
• A minimum of 10 years of technical experience along with established leadership credentials across disciplines and functions within IT program/product areas.
