Job Description Summary

We are looking for an experienced EHS professional to lead all the EHS activities according to GE and Italy requirements in our manufacturing plant in Milan (150 employees and 3 production lines).
He/she will have the knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Act as the appointed RSPP (Responsabile del Servizio di Prevenzione e Protezione) under Italian D.Lgs. 81/08, providing expert advice to site leadership and ensuring full compliance with local and GEV corporate standards.
  • Liaise with other functions, to ensure the proper focus on EHS including E&C
  • Ensure EHS Risk Assessments are effective, updated and communicated (including on E&C sites)
  • Monitor applicable EHS regulations and ensure Unit’s compliance with local regulations (country/state)
  • Participate to work council meetings with employees / other governing body in accordance with local regulations (country/state).
  • Identify EHS training needs for the Unit in coordination with HR & Managers.
  • Train, coach or secure the training and coaching of action leaders, sponsors and management teams
  • Plan Safety visits (Gemba walks) for management teams (including on E&C sites) and follow-up observations
  • Brilliant factory deployment and implementation of digital tools (GEOS, E-Andon, e-obeya…)
  • Maintain and continuously improve the site's EHS Management System in accordance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
  • Lead EHS audits (Governance, insurance, machines conformity, etc..)
  • Report progress of EHS improvements actions
  • Prepare operational budgets to fund EHS annual activities

Required Qualifications

  • Full compliance with the requirements for RSPP role (D.Lgs. 81/08, Modules A, B, C)
  • Proven experience in managing Italian EHS regulatory obligations (e.g., INAIL, ATS/ASL, ARPA, Fire Dept/VVF)
  • Proven track record in managing ISO certifications and EHS internal/external audits
  • Similar experience in an italian manufacturing site is a 'must' due to te need to comply with italian EHS rules and regulations.
  • Pragmatic approach is needed
  • Fluent in Italian and English

Fascia retributive: Tra € 58,400.00 e € 87,600.00 lordi annui. La retribuzione specifica offerta terrà conto dell'istruzione, delle qualifiche, dell'esperienza e delle competenze del candidato.

The pay range for this position: Between € 58,400.00 and € 87,600.00 gross per annum. The specific pay offered will consider the candidate’s education, qualifications, experience and skill set.

Stipendio Base: La retribuzione seguirà le tabelle salariali previste dal CCNL di categoria Chimico Farmaceutico

Base salary: The remuneration is established according to the Chimico Farmaceutico NCBA salary scale, which defines employment levels and minimum salary levels.

Pensione Integrativa (FONCHIM): Tutti i livelli sono eligibili
