Job Description Summary
Responsible for electrical maintenance activities in terms of corrective , planned and predictive maintenance scopes. Management of the outsourced maintenance activities. Application and execution of energy management with the responsibility of "Plant Energy Manager"Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance Responsibilities
- Plan and execute maintenance schedules for electrical systems (LV/MV/HV)
- Troubleshoot faults and ensure minimal downtime
- Oversee transformers, switchgear, generators, UPS systems, and control panels
- Ensure proper documentation of all electrical assets
- Ensure adherence to electrical safety standards and regulations (e.g., IEC, local codes)
- Conduct risk assessments and enforce lockout/tagout procedures
- Manage external service providers and maintenance contractors
- Review and approve technical work and reports
Energy Management Responsibilities
- Track electricity consumption using meters and energy management systems
- Analyze usage trends and identify inefficiencies
- Develop and implement initiatives to reduce energy consumption
- Optimize load distribution and power factor
- Ensure compliance with energy regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 50001)
- Prepare energy performance reports for management
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or relevant engineering departments.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance at industrial manufacturing plants.
- Experience at applications and executions of energy efficiency systems.
- Having "High Voltage Plants Operating Responsibility Certification"
- Having "Energy Manager Certificate"
- Ability to live in İstanbul or Kocaeli
Desired Characteristics
- Strong technical expertise in electrical maintenance , automation, digitalization and High Voltage applications
- Demonstrated ability to analyze supplier quality issues and drive effective root cause resolution
- Experience with supplier audits, NCR management, and corrective action processes
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to plan, document, and execute quality improvement initiatives
- Effective cross-functional and supplier engagement skill
- Having Siemens, Beckhoff or ABB PLC, Drive training certification is preferred
- Strong verbal and written English language skills
- Good knowledge of PLC and SCADA programming
