As a wind blade structural designer, you will lead the lifecycle management of wind turbine blades, providing structural assessments and technical support for manufacturing and field quality challenges. You will develop deep expertise in blade design, collaborate closely with production and field teams, and deliver innovative technical solutions that drive quality outcomes for our customers.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Execute design analysis or evaluation of assigned projects using solid engineering principles and adhering to company product/program standards, practices, procedures, and requirements.
Perform design and analysis of composite structures with new load evaluations based on internal or external customer requests using CATIA, ANSYS & in-house tools
Understanding of key business drivers; use this understanding to accomplish your own work.
Understanding of how your team’s work integrates with other teams and contributes to the domain.
Contribute to the identification of key design risks and the mitigation plan through a comprehensive DFMEA for the blade structure.
Participate as a presenter and/or reviewer in the design review of the structure.
Continuously maintain and improve blade structural design methods and procedures.
Support Production/Quality Issue root cause investigations. If needed, interact with senior management or customer / certifying body to explain the problem, solution and clear their technical concerns.
Improve blade Acceptance Criteria proactively to reduce unnecessary repair.
Provides support to factories for variety of quality and production issues – look for improvement opportunity on blade design or defect handling approaches.
Handle the engineering part of product deviation in production.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college
Desired Characteristics

Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Willingness to travel (domestic/international) at short notice
Team player with a competitive spirit to excel

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $72,000.00 and $108,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
