We’re looking for a candidate for our Finance team who can support us with our daily tasks. During the internship, the candidate will gain real-world experience working alongside seasoned finance professionals, with insight into the financial operations of a dynamic, cross-functional business. They will be exposed to financial systems, tools, and decision-making processes, and will have opportunities to contribute to meaningful business improvements and strategy.

Job Description

Support Planning & Forecasting:

  • Partner with the ITR Finance to support financial submissions across planning cycles, monthly pacing, and operating rhythms.
  • Support on analysis of financial reconciliation of the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, aligning outputs with business objectives.
  • Analyze historical and current data to build accurate demand forecasts and identify risk areas.
  • Assist in the development of quarterly forecasts, budget outlooks, and long-term strategic plans.

Cash & Compliance Optimization:

  • Contribute to cash flow optimization initiatives by supporting Accounts receivables, including billing linearity, on-time collections, and past-due reduction efforts.

Accounting & Regulatory Compliance:

  • Gain exposure to US GAAP accounting, controllership best practices, and statutory reporting.
  • Assist in ensuring timely completion of statutory and regulatory filings, managing audit requirements and consolidations across branches and legal entities.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports and variance analysis.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process by gathering and analyzing data.
  • Perform data entry, reconciliation, and validation of financial transactions where required.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Support the statutory reporting process, including preparation for audits, tax filings, and VAT returns.
  • Contribute to tax compliance tasks, including gathering supporting documentation, validating transactions, and maintaining accurate records for corporate income tax, VAT/GST, and withholding tax.
  • Help ensure compliance with IFRS standards and assist in the implementation of any changes to accounting policies or procedures.
  • Participate in the month-end and year-end close process, including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Assist with internal control testing, documentation, and audit support.
  • Support the finance team in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable working with large datasets.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Qualifications

  • Hon’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong knowledge of taxation background
  • Experience using financial or accounting software (e.g., SAP)
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookup functions, basic financial modeling).
  • Previous internship or experience related to finance or accounting.
  • Strong interest in financial analysis, and/or accounting careers.
  • Demonstrated initiative, and a proactive learning mindset.
