Job Description

Job Description Summary

Define and own the global digital standard for integrated business planning across Gas Power's multi-site supply chain network. This role accelerates the digitization of the planning process, translating a strong functional foundation into a consistent, globally adopted digital standard supported by the right tools. Works in close partnership with the IBP functional leader, who owns process governance and the planning cadence, to ensure digital standards reinforce and enable the planning process at every stage. Covers the full planning cycle from statistical forecasting and demand sensing through supply review and executive alignment.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Global Standard Definition & GPDA Authority

  • Define and own the global digital blueprint for integrated business planning across Gas Power's multi-site supply chain network. Establish the global standard and partner with local planning teams to adopt and implement it consistently across all sites.

  • Partner closely with the IBP functional leader, who owns process governance and the meeting cadence. This role owns the digital standard and tools that make the planning process work consistently across sites, reinforcing and enabling the process rather than creating parallel complexity.

  • Partner with the Production Planning GPDA as the primary downstream receiver of the supply plan, ensuring the handoff from network plan to factory schedule is clean, standardized, and supported by reliable data flows. Partner with other process owners where planning outputs connect to materials, warehousing, and shop floor execution.

Process Scope, Technology & Digital Technology Partnership

  • Own the digital standard supporting the full integrated planning cycle: statistical forecasting and demand sensing, Demand Management Review, Supply Management Review, Inventory Review, and integrated reconciliation and financial alignment.

  • Translate the planning process into structured digital requirements: data inputs, workflow logic, scenario modeling, exception management, and cross-functional reporting across the multi-site network. Maintain a platform-agnostic global process standard so the standard survives tool changes and platform decisions.

  • Lead the functional evaluation of planning platforms including the current Oracle Cloud pilot, ensuring solutions are evaluated against actual business process needs and user requirements before deployment decisions are made.

  • Own the integration standard between the planning system and ERP, ensuring plan outputs flow reliably into production orders and supply signals without manual intervention. Partner with the Master Data Governance team to confirm planning master data, including item hierarchies, planning parameters, and site attributes, aligns to global data standards before go-live.

  • Co-own application selection and solution design with Digital Technology and the New Technology Introduction team.

Site Network, Adoption & Continuous Improvement

  • Build and coordinate a global network of site-level planning process owners and subject matter experts who implement and sustain the global planning standard locally. Lead a formal Community of Practice across planning teams to drive standard adoption, share learnings across sites, and prevent local planning workarounds from becoming embedded practice.

  • Serve as the primary escalation point when sites diverge from the global standard. Monitor post-deployment usage and planning process outcomes to identify gaps and drive controlled updates to the global standard.

  • Conduct process walks and current-state assessments with planning teams at each site before deployment to validate readiness. Develop training materials and job aids aligned to the global standard, and support pilot and deployment phases in partnership with the Digital Program Manager. Ensure lessons learned from each site are incorporated into the global standard so every subsequent deployment improves on the last.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related technical field.

  • 7+ years in supply chain planning, demand planning, or integrated business planning in an industrial or manufacturing environment, with direct accountability for process standards or planning outcomes.

  • Hands-on experience with planning systems in a multi-site manufacturing environment, including ERP-based planning, advanced planning platforms, or integrated business planning tools.

  • Proven experience defining process standards and driving adoption across multi-site networks.

  • Experience translating planning process requirements into functional specifications for technology teams.

  • Strong influencing and facilitation skills across planning, commercial, finance, and operations stakeholders.

Desired Characteristics

  • Familiarity with integrated business planning platforms and demand sensing tools in a manufacturing context.

  • Experience supporting S&OP or IBP process digitization in a global manufacturing organization.

  • Exposure to statistical forecasting methods and demand planning analytics.

  • Familiarity with ERP planning integration requirements across SAP and Oracle environments.

  • Comfortable operating in a role where the digital standard and the tool are evolving simultaneously, and where ambiguity is the norm rather than the exception.
