Essential Responsibilities

• Provide on site and remote technical direction to site personnel and customers.
• Prepare job planning documents that define the work scope being performed through
• engineering instructions, drawings, and process instructions;
• Provide leadership to skilled labor performing work on customer sites;
• Troubleshoot and provide routine maintenance checkout for a wide range of equipment
• such as power transformers, switchgear, protection relays, control systems, and motors.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems in the substations on wind and solar plants.
• Perform administrative functions such as writing technical reports, ordering materials,
• securing quotations, and preparing job completion reports to customers.
• Exercise good judgment in controlling costs
• Maintain strong safety mindset at all times

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED

Desired Characteristics

• Previous High voltage experience
• Familiar with test equipment and testing procedures for transformers, relays, breakers, and
• underground splices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to read schematics.
• Ability to write and interpret switching orders.
• Required to mentor and train unqualified technicians
• Proven experience in leading field service team;
• Safety must be top priority.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills;
• Willingness to travel;
• Flexibility required;
• Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, SmartSheets,
• Basic Workplace First Aid
• Must live within 100 miles of Wichita Falls Texas.
