This role will be pivotal in supporting the HR Operations in Malaysia which includes integrating and develop HR processes, analyze data and drive HR projects that meet needs across the business in country or outside of the country. This position provides administration support activities associated with HR operations. The role enables operational excellence & other key metrics. executing on multiple HR processes and supporting the HR team across all HR service categories including Lifecycle processes like Pre-payroll, Letters, benefits management, offboarding, reporting, metrics and more.

Justification
Support People Operations on ad-hoc projects, payroll transition activities, policy documents and simplification projects.

Key responsibilities/essential functions include:

  • This internship provides exposure to HR processes and helps build foundational skills for a career in HR.

  • Identify and resolve operational issues and support process improvements within your defined scope of work.

  • Leverage existing tools and resources to accurately record and track completion of key performance indicators.

  • Partner with the region and extended team members on key initiatives and projects.

  • You should be able to work independently on assigned projects in  partnership with the team members.

  • Conduct periodic review of process documents and ensure they are up to date with the latest changes.

  • Develop in depth knowledge of the HR systems – Workday , Time & attendance tool  and processes to perform your job.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Pursuing or completed Bachelor’s degree.

  • Strong communication skills & knowledge of local language to work with internal team with country or outside of the country

  • Strong client service orientation and passion for problem solving.

  • Computer proficiency in MS Office and other applications.

  • Proficiency in spoken/ written local language, English or Mandarin .

  • Strong preference for intern who can join for a minimum of 6 months or more.
