Job Description Summary

Aero Service Technologies Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to support daily inventory control, material transactions, receiving documentation, and related coordination activities at the Port Klang facility.
This role is primarily responsible for inventory accuracy, system transactions, record control, material coordination, and receiving-related documentation. The position also supports operational requirements through close coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure timely material flow and inventory management in line with business needs.

Job Description

Main Duties

1. Inventory Control & System Transactions

  • Perform daily inventory transactions accurately and on time in company systems and related tools.

  • Execute GRN transactions for supplier parts, direct materials, and other inventory-related items.

  • Process inventory transactions linked to work orders, including material push and return transactions.

  • Perform miscellaneous inventory transactions for consumables and other materials as requested.

  • Support inventory accuracy through proper transaction execution, traceability, and record control.

  • Maintain and update internal tracking tools such as Part Tracker and other inventory-related files.

  • Support ESN allocation and inventory records based on operational requirements.

2. Receiving Documentation & Record Control

  • Collect and review receiving information, including part details, quantities, AWB data, and supporting documents.

  • Prepare and complete receiving reports accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Check CIPL values against the PO summary before GRN and escalate mismatches when required.

  • Maintain receiving records and ensure all related documentation is complete and accurate.

  • Support routine filing, documentation control, and record management activities.

3. Material Coordination

  • Coordinate material readiness to support operational and production requirements.

  • Support the preparation of parts and materials according to planning and operational needs.

  • Report material shortages or insufficient parts to the relevant planners or coordinators.

  • Manage requisition forms and coordinate with production or other stakeholders when required.

  • Support labelling and identification activities for incoming and stored materials.

  • Coordinate with production, sourcing, inventory, and logistics stakeholders to support timely material flow and execution.

4. Systems, Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain and update shared trackers and files related to inventory and receiving activities.

  • Use Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking, reporting, and data management.

  • Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned with internal process requirements.

  • Support inventory count activities, stock checks, and discrepancy validation as required.

5. Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all company safety rules and procedures.

  • Work in compliance with:

    • Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (OSHA 1994)

    • Factories and Machinery Act 1967

    • Any applicable site inventory, warehouse, and material handling requirements

  • Use PPE at all times as required for the task.

  • Report any unsafe condition, damaged material, documentation issue, or incident immediately.

  • Follow all work instructions, standard operating procedures, and supervisor directions.

6. Ad Hoc Duties

  • Perform ad hoc inventory, logistics, warehouse, and other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management in line with business needs.

Requirements

  • Experience in inventory control, warehouse administration, material coordination, or related operational support.

  • Ability to manage routine transactional activities accurately and on time.

  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

  • Ability to work with operational systems and transaction-based processes.

  • Good coordination and communication skills with internal stakeholders.

  • Ability to work in a structured environment with strong attention to detail.

  • Basic English required; ability to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Foxtrot, Oracle ERP, inventory systems, or tracking tools.

  • Experience in aerospace, turbine repair, manufacturing, or industrial operations.

  • Experience supporting receiving, inventory transactions, material coordination, or warehouse activities.
