Job Profile Summary:
As a Lead AC Control Automation Engineer-Technical Leader, you will be a part of LV Secondary team, reporting directly to the Senior Engineering Manager, and interacting with all HVDC disciplines (Tendering, Sourcing, manufacturing, Installation and commissioning) to support design and delivery of LV Secondary scope for all HVDC projects around the world.
AC Control Automation scope covers all aspects of Control Automation for HVDC system, including among others:
• Control system architecture design.
• Control hardware Technical Specification
• Cables Connection Diagram
• FAT Test Procedure, FAT & Type Test Report
• Installation, Operation & maintenance Manual
• AC Protection Relay Configuration and C30 Configuration
This role includes developing team talents and competencies, support Engineering process application and improvement, provide technical guidance, mentoring, drive consistent design practices and common global processes for projects implementation and provide technical solutions that meet project delivery and Tender objectives.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Responsible for leading Standard Solution definition and supporting projects team on key subjects. This includes, among others, the following activities:
- Requirement & Design
- Engineering Design Process & Review
- Reviewing and approving key technical documents
- Customer interface and training
- Support the business Tendering, Operations, Contractual and After Sales needs.
- Provide technical guidance that influences outcomes to other people.
- Play a key role in engineering design reviews and technical leadership, identifying potential project risks and technical weaknesses and proposing safe, reliable and compliant solutions.
- Execute and provide guidance for the analysis/evaluation of assigned projects that meet business standards, practices and procedures and the product/project requirements.
- Responsible to define strategies and roadmap for development of the team.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resources requirements; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
- Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations.
- Continuously improving the product in terms of delivery speed, stability, and reliability.
- Responsible for knowledge capitalization.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Electronics/Electrical engineering or proven equivalent knowledge and experience in HVDC business.
- Major experience in Control Automation design in HVDC projects or equivalent Engineering field.
- Ability to understand and communicate customer requirements, ownership of technical discussions with customers and capable of developing client relationships.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills as well as proven experience of cross-functional technical leadership.
- Problem Solving skills; Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects; Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Proven technical leadership in a complex system engineering development environment.
- Experience in knowledge management and capitalization, training and mentoring,
- Decision maker and resourceful: capability to take decisions when needed and pull in experts as/when needed.
- Records of designing quality systems/components that comply with safety requirements, exceed design requirements, beat cost targets, and exceed reliability targets.
- Continuous Improvement mindset and Influencing skills
- Willing/Available to travel (~15% of time) to support projects delivery activities.
