Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support and Improve Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost in Turbine Assembly
  • Improve processes and prevent repeat defects
  • Act as a Problem solver and process improvement leader
  • Complete 4D and 8D and act as coach on problem solving process
  • Develop, improve, and maintain manufacturing methods
  • Support EHS projects in cell and ensure processes contribute to a safe work environment
  • Define and control production process including tooling and equipment.
  • Act as mentor to other Manufacturing Engineers in the area

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain from an accredited university or college OR a High School Diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or supply chain
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in engineering or supply chain

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future
  • This position is 100% onsite position at the GE Vernova Greenville, SC Garlington site

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ability to project manage and complete long term projects
  • Knowledge and application of Lean Manufacturing Principles
  • High Attention to detail and accurate execution of projects and tasks
  • Experience reading BOM and technical drawings

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $81,700.00 and $136,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

 

 

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
