Job Description Summary

Own, manage and develop the manufacturing operations related financial processes of a large scale engineered to order type power transformer factory. Ensure accurate financials through the month and quarter closing processes, including variance analysis to prior periods and operating plans. Communicate financial plans and results to operating leaders.

Have solid appetite and understanding of lean principles and take active part in lean projects.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze production costs, including materials, labor, and overhead, and explain key variances and trends
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and month-end closing for fixed production costs
  • Review operational and labor performance to identify cost-saving and productivity improvement opportunities
  • Monitor quality-related costs and support risk evaluation, including warranty reserve analysis
  • Manage fixed assets, capital allocation, and asset-related financial analysis
  • Partner with site teams to improve cost control, operational efficiency, and delivery performance
  • Contribute to special projects and share best practices across the manufacturing finance community
  • Ensure compliance with company and local EHS policies and support a strong safety culture

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Finance or Economics from a reputable university
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in Finance / Controlling in production environment in multinational area
  • Deep understanding about the operational processes regarding production, sales, procurement, and delivery to be able to relate financial figures with operational facts
  • Strong verbal and written skills in English and Turkish
  • SAP, FI, CO and MM program knowledge
  • Ability to live in Istanbul & Kocaeli​
