Job Description Summary

To plan and manage transportation of Pass through orders to US customers according to incoterms. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.

Job Description

Responsibilities:             

Develop and lead end-to-end logistics solutions to achieve required on-time pick up & delivery of goods. Manage Logistics Costs to meet budgets and Op Plans.

Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrated with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market

Work with vendors to coordinate the timing and means of delivery

Find solutions to budget limitations, vendor errors, and other problems as they arise

Tracks and expedites orders to ensure delivery schedules are met

 

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering, Business and Project Management with a minimum of 4 years of experience in logistics, project management, engineering, manufacturing, or related field (or associate degree with at least 6 years of experience in logistics, project management, engineering, manufacturing, or related field)

 

  • Demonstrated leadership and team mindset skills

  • Proficient knowledge and usage of computers, MS Office Applications (MS Excel including spreadsheets, graphs, functions and advanced applications.)

  • Customer interface management experience

  • Financial aspects (cost components, margins)

  • Understanding of project milestones

  • Risk management

  • Ability to motivate team & other stakeholders

  • Result oriented

  • Strong customer relations

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Adaptability toward changing priorities

  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously

  • Effective problem identification and solution skills

  • Proven analytical and organizational ability

  • Experience in Transmission industry and managing exports is desirable

  • Excellent computer skills required, including MS Office (Word, Excel)

  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful

  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $87,000.00 and $145,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
