Responsible of the Project Management activities of GSI Service over the North America region.
Manage Grid Services PM to ensure projects execution in line with Safety, Quality, Delay and Costs standards as well as maximizing Customers satisfaction.

Essential Responsibilities

Planning

• Provide requirements to Field leader to maintain field specialists’s planning
• PM support to field specialists with 24/7 technical support team
• Manage communications with customers (meetings, reviews (FAT,…), conference call, …
• Responsible to improve the PM processes : project preparation, Service contracts, …
• Ensure the profitability (no margin deviation) of the projects as per budget defined at tendering stage.

Management of Service projects : New install, Service contract,...

• Review customer PO vs GE offer during transfer meeting to identify potential risks and contractual deviations.
• Responsible to entertain kick-off meeting with customer with the different parties involved to define properly the roles and responsibilities and contractual commitments.
• Responsible to issue the variation orders
• Responsible of all communications with customers
• Ensure the availability of equipment and software required
• Responsible of administrative tasks related to the projects
• Produce the post-mortem of the the projects
• Ensure proper follow-up of project execution governance including kick-off meeting, project review and post-mortem across all activities in collaboration with PMs
• Organize monthly project reviews for all major projects.

Qualifications/

Requirements

Education / Experience

• Engineering or Operations degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.  10 years of experience Project Management. 

Business Understanding

• Scope of GE Grid products as well as Project Management Handbook (PMH). Experience in innovative Service environment. Coordination of different team and cultures. Previous works experiences in a matrix organization desirable.

Specific knowledge

• Strong Knowledge on Project Management processes.

• Excellent net-worker, team player and manager. Good communication skills. Dynamic and challenging, able to act as a change agent and to empower others.  Pragmatic sense to approach challenges.  Ambitious, potential to grow.  High results and quality orientation. 

Customer Service

• Process improvement as well as service specifics to determine and satisfy customer requirements.

Systems and Software

• MS suite, MS Project, SAP,...
• Languages: Bilangual French and English

• Experience of  Project Manager roles
• Recognized leadership skills and strong experience in building, working with and leading international operations team in a global setting and matrix environment
• Strong process and operational experience

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $100,000.00 and $166,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

 

 

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
