Job Description Summary

The position is to recruit experienced GIS FS engineer (electrical/mechanical) to support long term business plan of ISN PT Services.
GE Service business has an increasing share of maintenance of GIS Installed base & service activities in their yearly budget and support installation, testing commissioning of PT India Projects as well if necessary.
This position is to recruit experienced service engineer in GIS field services externally or internally and train FSE to provide service on supervision and maintenance of GIS products at sites supplied by GE T&D.

Roles and Responsibilities

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

 Keeping EHS on top priority and performing GIS- FS operations and executions as following:

1. Trouble shooting of Out of warranty GIS products with spring operated mechanism, pneumatic operated and hydraulic mechanisms, product range – 72.5KV to 765KV GIS
2. Annual Maintenance & Servicing of GIS bays as per AMCs   with central utilities, various state electricity boards, private customers etc.
3. Inspection of phased out GIS products and providing recommendation to customers for major overhauling/ factory repair or retrofit solutions by current products manufactured by CHT and GE overseas units also.
4. Independently   major overhauling of legacy products in GIS.  (Product range – 72.5KV to 400KV GIS)
5. Mapping of the legacy products & installed base of GIS products and providing recommendation for servicing /overhauling/ spares procurements
6. Strong payment follows up with customers and support to project execution and payment collection team.
7. Detection of FS enquiry for spares business during visiting at sites for attending the service jobs.

8. Ensuring execution of FS jobs as per mission plans actions and reporting through Service Max ( FS operations & Execution tool)
9.  Maintaining the records – Service reports/ Time sheets & Expense reports

10. Providing the unit with customer feedback and improvement suggestions

11. Taking good care of GIS maintenance,  erection & comm and testing tools during site visits.

Required Qualifications

• BE or Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering with 8 years 14 years of experience on GE make GIS Products.

• Willingly interested in travelling and frequent site visits as per customers shutdown requirements.
