Job Description Summary
Experienced Supplier Quality Engineer role focused on managing vendor qualification, audits, non-conformance resolution, and continuous improvement for service providers supporting power plant maintenance projects across Europe. Requires strong technical knowledge of repair/manufacturing processes, multilingual communication skills (French, English, Arabic), and the ability to autonomously lead supplier quality initiatives in an international environment with up to 50% travel.Job Description
What will you do:
- Includes both Supplier Quality Assurance and Supplier Quality Development.
- Plan, develop and execute vendor qualifications from request validation, planning, team set up, through kick-off meeting with internal stakeholder, and external stakeholders, following service delivery to concluding and documenting
- Manage NCRs and lead RCI and RCA activities related to vendors. Develop improvement action plans and follow up at vendor.
- Develop vendor surveillance audit plans and execute them on-time.
- Monitor vendor performance and serve as go to person for Supplier Quality within the assigned region
- Assess and develop key vendors towards industrial standards of excellence.
- Developing specialized depth and breadth of expertise in Supplier Quality and Field Services.
What will you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering or Maintenance or Field Services
- Proven knowledge of several manufacturing or repair processes
- Strong oral and written communication skills in French, English and Arabic.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of time internationally
- Driving license required

- Ability to lead small projects independently with moderate risks and resource requirements. Ability to plan, execute and document projects
- Working within broad guidelines and policies with autonomy, requiring high levels of evaluative judgment
- Good level of digital skills (e.g. basic data analysis skill in Excel, experience in workflow driven IT systems, confident use of web-based applications, generative AI tools)
- Knowledge of power plant sub-systems and related specification, or similar industries’ special processes
- Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field
- International Welding Engineer qualification
- NDT Level II certification
- Auditor certification
