Job Description Summary

Lead Warehouse Engineer is responsible for coordinating warehouse operations, ensuring efficient material flow, inventory accuracy, storage optimization, and on-time supply of materials to production lines. (from suppliers and also within the department) The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge of warehouse processes with leadership capabilities to support operational excellence, safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with EHS regulations and company safety policies
  • Coaching the warehouse staff and provide guidance, training, and performance support
  • Develop and implement warehouse procedures, work instructions, and best practices
  • Manage non-conforming materials, quarantine areas, and material traceability requirements
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for material shortages, stock discrepancies, and operational issues
  • Attend Daily meetings that is a part of QCDM management system and represent warehouse team
  • Ensure timely and accurate material availability to support production and dispatch schedules
  • Manage warehouse layout, storage systems, and space utilization for optimal efficiency and safety
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to warehouse productivity, lead time reduction, and process standardization
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for inbound and outbound logistics coordination
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure high inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and stock reconciliation processes
  • Make Gemba tours in responsibility to catch the abnormalities and take necessary actions
  • Attend projects, loss analysis, saving activities, lean manufacturing, kaizen events etc. and take active responsibility for the related subjects
  • Support ERP/WMS transactions and ensure accurate system records for all warehouse activities
  • Track and report warehouse KPIs such as inventory accuracy, on-time material delivery, space utilization, and operational efficiency

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Engineering or Supply Chain Management field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, materials management, or logistics
  • Hands-on experience with SAP ERP systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with a strong focus on Excel
  • Solid understanding of health, safety, and quality standards within an industrial environment
  • Willingness to work on-site at the Gebze plant at least four days per week
  • Ability to reside in or relocate to Istanbul or Kocaeli
