The Lean & Digital Technology Manager will demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. Essential Functions, responsibilities:
As a Lean & Digital Technology Manager, your main role & responsibilities are:
Lean & QMS:
• Lean strategy planning: Work in close cooperation with manufacturing department to define and implement Lean manufacturing processes. Drive strategy execution and improvement results, link Lean initiatives closely to plant KPIs pursuing operation excellence.
• Lean people development: provide leadership, coaching and training in culture change that is inherent in Lean transformations.
• Lean activities and events – plan Lean activities and events to support key Lean initiatives and promote Lean culture.
• Lean project implementation: Identify continuous improvement opportunities which covered productivity, quality, safety, utilization, inventory, lead time, etc., focus on end-to-end improvement, facilitate manufacturing engineer/supervisor/operator to build up, implement and follow up Lean projects to hit the target by Lean methodologies.
• New product introduction: support operations team on new product introduction, using Lean tools on layout design, production preparation, resource planning to reduction unnecessary waste.
• Manage Site Quality Management System (QMS) & Audit trails of QMS.
Digital Technology:
• Responsible for delivering IT strategies and implementation that effectively align with business strategies and needs including prioritization, rationalization and communication.
• Provide overall management, technical and financial direction for site level IT projects.
• Act as a change agent for business processes and IM organization; work as a partner with the business to evaluate and improve the business processes and arrive at mutual, cost-effective solutions.
• Interface with IM organization - Technology Services Group, Global Application Support and Share Services to define, provide, measure user support level and control the delivery of IM solutions for the business.
• Work closely and evaluate service providers including vendor management, development of RFP's, negotiating contracts, managing partners during implementation, and ensuring ongoing stability; manage on-going vendor relations to ensure that services are delivered to contract, problems are addressed, and costs maintained in the most efficient manner.
• Provide leadership, direction, and oversight to ensure the success and implementation of any related system changes. SLA adherence, repeatable testing/execution processes, and compliance with IT 404, security, and shared service process as required.
• Drive development of key IT solutions, advanced manufacturing, digital and mobile technology in the plant
• Mentor plant leadership on the Digital technology mindset; closely follow technology trend, familiar industry 4.0 and Internet of Thing application, collaborate Lean and digital, using automation/ manufacturing system driving breakthrough on waste reduction.
Responsible for:
• Provide leadership, guidance & coaching to Lean & Digital Technology members. Motivate employees and inspire positive environment within them so that they can work together toward achieving goals.

• Evaluate employees’ performance, train, coach & develop employees.
• Manage budget for Lean & Digital Technology activities and monitor throughout the year.

Qualification, requirement:
• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Industrial, Operations, IT or related Engineering fields
• At least 7 years of experiences in a manufacturing environment including leadership positions.
• 2+ years hands on experience using Lean and Six Sigma tools: 3P, 7 WAYS, SMED, TPS, Process Capacity, etc.
• Strong communicational and influential skills to oversee, direct and motivate project team, and other functional personnel as needed.
• Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and leadership with strong abilities in relationship management.
• Quality and cost driven; established project management and organizational abilities
• Excellent English skills (verbal & written)

• Participate actively in providing suggestions for Environment, health and safety program improvement
• Bring Environment, health and safety issues, unsafe acts and safety suggestions to management's attention or correct those they can
• Know and implement regulatory compliance requirements in their work area
Quality requirement:
• Understand and comply with procedures and work instructions
• Stop the process and Report when any abnormality that might cause defects, escaping defect
• Don’t accept defects, don’t make defects and don’t pass defects
• Continuous improve quality performance of products
Desired characteristics:
• Additional leadership experience in the areas of Operations, Manufacturing/Quality/Lean and/or ERP implementations and support and previous exposure to Oracle
• Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification is a preference.
• Executive level presentation skills
• Experience leading a technology development/integration.
• Experience leading a Lean manufacturing transformation.
• Experience defining, implementing and using shop floor IT tools
• Passionate to emerging technology.
