Job Description Summary

The Maintenance Material Resource Planner will manage the flow of Spare Parts to a manufacturing cell or area. As an MRP Planner, ensure availability of all required materials to perform preventative and reactive Maintenance and that all transactions are properly executed in the systems (ERP / CMMS). In this role you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and can affect short-term and some long-term business goals.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs.
  • Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs. Optimize inventory and process improvements.
  • Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
  • Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
  • Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in a manufacturing management or planning position).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Manufacturing, Materials, Inventory.

Desired Characteristics

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technical, Business, Supply Chain or related fields.
  • Experience working with modern ERP: SAP platform, L2L, Maximo.
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage changing/conflicting priorities and resolve appropriately.
  • Analytical and system proficiency skills.
  • Ability to effectively operate in any organizational structure.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to effectively interface with all levels of management.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $81,700.00 and $136,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

 

 

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
