Job Description Summary

The role is for leading the inprocess, customer FAT and outgoing quality activities for products ( CT/CVT) which includes inprocess checks in taping/winding, assembly, process ( drying and oil filling)
Ensuring all quality checks before tests and also conduct outgoing quality checks ( PDI). Ensure Quality KPIs, NC Management and conduct RCA/PSR for all line related issues

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead inprocess, customer FAT and outgoing quality activities for products ( CT/CVT) which includes inprocess checks in taping/winding, assembly, process ( drying and oil filling)
  • Ensuring all quality checks before tests and also conduct outgoing quality checks ( PDI). Ensure Quality KPIs and NC Management.
  • Conduct RCA(8D/PSR) for internal line related  NC(winding/assy.etc)as well as customer site related issues by liasing with team to ensure that the root cause is identified and implementation of the CAPA.
  • Conduct PFMEA, L1/L2 audits and suggest improvement actions and monitoring of improvement actions in line.
  • Quick resolution of issues in shop floor and NC resolution in Quality suite with proper RCA (PSR/8D).
  • Management of Customer FAT including all Quality documentation.Verify conformance to specification by measuring and testing during in-house manufacturing.
  • Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy. May include support roles with specialized technical field of knowledge; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.
  • Required Qualifications

  • For roles outside of the USA- This role requires basic experience in the Manufacturing & Production Quality Control. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience) with minimum 5+years experience

  • Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
  • Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures.
  • A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills and may be required to lead a junior team
