Job Description SummaryThe 3rd Shift Operations Leader is responsible for leading overnight manufacturing operations to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals are met. This role supervises hourly production employees, coordinates shift activities, addresses operational issues in real time, and ensures adherence to standard work and plant procedures. The Operations Leader is expected to build a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement while maintaining safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations during off-shift hours.

Responsibilities
Promote and enforce compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Lead 3rd shift production operations to meet daily quality, delivery and productivity targets
Supervise, coach, and develop hourly production employees to support performance and engagement
Monitor staffing, material flow, equipment performance, and workflow to minimize downtime and disruptions
Troubleshoot production issues and make timely decisions to maintain operational continuity
Coordinate with peers in maintenance, manufacturing engineering, planning, quality, etc. to resolve issues and support shift execution
Conduct shift startup meetings, communicate priorities, and provide effective shift handoff reporting
Maintain accurate production records, downtime tracking, labor reporting, and other required documentation
Address employee performance, attendance, and conduct issues in a consistent and professional manner
Support onboarding and training of new employees and reinforce standard work across the shift
Drive continuous improvement through participation in lean events, waste reduction, process discipline, 5S, and problem-solving activities
Required Qualifications
Ability to work 3rd Shift- 9:30pm-6:30am, including overtime or weekends as needed
Our facility operates 24 hours per day on three shifts. You will occasionally be required to attend meetings and provide assistance to shifts outside of normal working hours
Bachelors degree with 2 years of people leadership experience (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 3 years of experience leading a team)
Minimum of 6 years Manufacturing experience
Computer literate - Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Pay Transparency:
The base pay range for this position is $98,000.00 - $164,000.00. This position is also eligible for a 10% night shift premium and 10% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $98,000.00 and $164,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
