Job Description Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Leader to drive the strategic and operational excellence of GE Vernova's AI Foundry. This senior leadership role combines strategic thinking with hands-on operational execution, requiring someone who can manage complex partner ecosystems, drive financial performance, and establish the AI Foundry as a center of excellence across GE Vernova.The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of operations leadership experience, preferably with a technical background in energy, industrial, or technology sectors. You'll be responsible for scaling our partner engagement model, oversee program financials and serving as the primary liaison for operational excellence for AI Foundry.
As a GE Vernova accelerator, the AI Foundry is the central team driving AI transformation across GE Vernova and at the forefront of transforming how we leverage artificial intelligence to power the energy transition. You'll play a pivotal role in building partnerships that drive innovation, managing the financial health of our initiatives, and establishing processes that enable rapid scaling of AI solutions across our portfolio.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership Leadership:
- Lead all partner engagements and relationship management for the AI Foundry
- Develop and execute partnership strategies that align with GE Vernova's business objectives
- Manage partner team dynamics and ensure successful collaboration outcomes
- Drive strategic planning for partnership expansion and optimization
Financial Management & Performance:
- Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports to leadership on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, ensuring accurate accruals and financial transparency
- Lead pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and change requests with vendors
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and accruals
- Process purchase orders, invoices, and ensure financial compliance
- Work with Business Process Managers to
- Drive cost and ROI analysis across all AI Foundry initiatives
Communications:
- Develop and deliver strategic comms for senior leadership and stakeholders
- Establish governance frameworks and best practices for AI deployment
- Create compelling presentations and reports for senior executives and key stakeholders, translating complex AI initiatives into clear business impact stories
Operational Excellence:
- Manage logistics and operational requirements for partner ramp-up activities
- Establish scalable processes and systems to support rapid growth
- Lead vendor management and purchasing operations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency
- Drive operational excellence for governance around value unlocking
- Work w/ corporate FP&A to validate and signoff on the financials associated with the value realization of AI projects
- Partner for governance frameworks that ensure responsible AI deployment while enabling innovation and speed for AI deployments
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or related technical field
- 10+ years of operations leadership experience in energy sector.
- Proven track record managing complex partnerships and vendor relationships
- Strong financial management experience including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L responsibility
- Experience in contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and procurement processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels
- Experience working in matrix organizations and driving cross-functional initiatives
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Technical background in energy, power generation, or industrial technology sectors
- MBA or advanced degree in relevant field
- Experience with AI/ML technology implementations or digital transformation initiatives
- Background in scaling technology organizations or innovation centers
- Experience with government contracting or regulated industry operations
- Track record of building and leading high-performing operational teams
The base pay range for this position is 152,400.00 - 254,000.00 USD, annually. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s education and skill set. This position may also be eligible for a sign on incentive and new hire equity grant based on meeting certain eligibility criteria.

Relocation Assistance Provided: Yes
For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $152,400.00 and $254,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
