Job Description

We are now looking for candidates to strengthen our engineering team.

The main responsibilities for this position are:

• Configuration, testing and on-site commissioning of GE P&C solutions,

• technical support for the project management team, as well as sales and tendering,

Qualifications:

Education:

• Technical High School Diploma of a relevant faculty of protection & automation in energy systems; or equivalent knowledge or experience

Experience:

• experience in power systems, specifically transmission, in the field of protection relays;

• knowledge of HV/MV systems, incl. bus bar applications, standards, specifications, requirements, communication protocols, etc.;

• experience in computer networks, switches, routers, gateways, etc. will be a plus

• acquaintance of GE range of HV/MV protection relays i.e. Micom Px40, Multilin UR, 8 series will be a plus;

• interpersonal skills to effectively interact with a diverse groups of stakeholders, both external and internal;

Specific knowledge: 

• Languages:  English to effectively communicate with multinational customers and other GE functions abroad; German would

• Visibility of work requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and discretion with confidential information;

The position involves travelling to customers’ sites home and abroad ~50% of working time.
