Job Description Summary

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our Embedded Software tools team for HVDC Solution Line Product Care business. In this role, you will define and execute the configuration, monitor and troubleshoot tools strategy, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, secure, and scalable embedded systems. You will play a critical role in scaling our engineering presence in Hyderabad and driving cross-functional excellence to meet our strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Growth: Manage and mentor a high-performing team of engineers. Foster a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and professional development.
  • Platform Strategy: Define and execute the Embedded Software tools roadmap, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of the HVDC Product line.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with NPI (New Product Introduction) and Program Management teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Technical Excellence: Serve as a technical resource, utilizing data-driven insights to solve complex engineering challenges and improve software engineering competencies.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: Significant professional experience in Engineering/Technology, with a focus on IEC61850 standards and Embedded Software Tools with Management.
  • Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage teams, set technical direction, and lead complex projects to successful delivery.
  • Technical Depth: In-depth knowledge of IEC61850 standards and embedded systems, industry best practices, and relevant connectivity protocols.
